PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a globally recognized professional certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) that validates an individual's knowledge and experience in project management.

The certification is designed for experienced project managers who are looking to demonstrate their proficiency and expertise in project management best practices. To be eligible for the PMP exam, an individual must have a four-year degree (or equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects, and 35 hours of project management education. Alternatively, an individual without a degree must have at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects, and 35 hours of project management education.

2. Prerequisites for PMP certification Examination

How much Project Experience:

  • 36 months of project management experience/activities  for Bachelor’s degree holder

  • 60 months of project management experience/activities for  High School/Diploma holder

  • Project Management Education:

  • 35 hours of project management education

  • PMP Examination Fee 

  • USD 555 to be paid to PMI – For Non-PMI Member

  • USD 405 to be paid to PMI – For PMI Member

  • USD 129 to be paid to PMI – For PMI Membership

 

3. PMP Examination Format
